I have been very blessed with the opportunity to share a little of my story in the Gilroy Dispatch! I really hope to open some more opportunities for the local artists and musicians in Gilroy with this. I want to see more art and music of ALL genres in Gilroy and not just be limited to whom they deem "acceptable". I feel it is important to show that there are very talented people in our community that should be able to shine and not feel restricted. I personally have felt limited due to the fact that I am a Hip Hop artist in my town. But I want to prove and show that there is a difference between the REAL Hip Hop and the mainstream rap many people associate it with.
